Rio Tinto: November 29 - December 1 2019
I spent a weekend in the Huelva Province of Andalousia with my photographer friend Jürgen Heitmann. This is an absolute bucket list item for photographers !
November 29:
One hour before sunset we arrived at this location between Niebla and La Palma del Contado.

Our first halt in the morning: “Nacimiento de Rio Tinto”; the birth place of the Rio Tinto.

Third stop: “Minas de Riotinto”
The first photo emphasizes the size of the site, whereas the second is merely a tiny portion of the same photo.
